District planning for transition to in-person learning; student learning model selection due Sept. 22

With a drop in COVID-19 cases and a move from the high level to the moderate level of infection, we’re planning to transition to in-person learning. View the plan that was presented to the School Board on Sept. 16.

Families should have received information from their school about a survey asking you to select your preference for either continuing with distance learning or transitioning to in-person hybrid learning.

Tentative dates for beginning in-person hybrid learning is Oct. 13 for students in grades K-5. Students in grades 6-12 are slated to begin in-person hybrid learning on Nov. 3. These dates are subject to change barring changes in COVID-19 activity and recommendations from health authorities.

As we plan for a transition to in-person instruction, we’re reconnecting with families through a survey to determine your preference in a learning model. We are striving to meet the request of all families across the district. Find details on the learning models and instructions for completing the survey here. Please select your learning model by Sept. 22.

Find information about learning models and stages, health and safety protocols for students and staff, and more in our 2020-21 School Year section of the website.
