Tele-health options for students & families

Partnerships offer counseling services to students, families

Is your child experiencing stress, anxiety or becoming emotionally overwhelmed? This has been a year like none other with a pandemic that has understandably caused mental health challenges for some of our students. To increase access to behavioral health services for students and families, the District has partnered with MultiCare Behavioral Health and Consejo Counseling and Referral Service. Each agency provides tele-health counseling opportunities offered during students’ asynchronous Monday school schedule.

MultiCare Behavioral Health

  • Sumner High School students who have private or state insurance
  • Students with only state insurance attending Bonney Lake High School, Lakeridge Middle School, Mountain View Middle School and Sumner Middle School and Daffodil Valley Elementary

Other behavioral health resources

For students not eligible for our partner agency tele-health services, families with private/commercial insurance may find other behavioral health resources through Kids’ Mental Health Pierce County.
