New Daffodil Princesses

Congratulations to this year’s Daffodil Princesses: Addie Fowler (BLHS) and Zoe Roberts (SHS). They will represent our District and serve among other daffodil royalty from 24 other Pierce County high schools. Princesses are selected from their high schools based on their status as demonstrated representatives of leadership and academic success. Throughout the year, the Daffodil Princesses reach out to the community through service, public appearances, and ambassadorship, beyond being a highlight of the Daffodil Parade each spring. Mark your calendars for the 91st Annual Daffodil Parade on April 6.

Addie Fowler (BLHS)

Princess Addie Fowler has been a member of the varsity cheer team since her freshman year and is now the cheer captain. She is involved in various clubs throughout the school including Panther Crue and National Honor Society. She has maintained a 3.9 grade point average while participating in cheer and clubs. Her goals include being the best version of herself at all times and always being there for others when they need someone. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Fun fact about Addie is in 2019 she had back surgery and has two metal rods in her back. Addie plans to continue her education at the university level then on to medical school where she hopes to become a pediatrician.

Zoe Roberts (SHS)

Princess Zoe Roberts is a full IB senior, an Honor Society Member, Key Club President and Amnesty International President. She is very involved in the band program at Sumner High School as the clarinet section leader and other section leadership roles. Zoe would like to attend a four-year university to pursue a dual degree in English and Music. Her dream would be to achieve a professorship at a small private university and publish her own historical fiction. Zoe has a real passion for babies who suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome, and wants to volunteer in the NICU to help support babies as they detox. Zoe’s most embarrassing moment would be showing up to an interview after participating in a roleplay as Nixon for an assignment. She was still wearing her “I Love Richard Nixon” T-shirt.
