New Immunization Tracking System
SBLSD transitioned from using our student information system, “Skyward,” to using the Washington State Immunization Information System (WAIIS), to update and track all immunization records for our students. The system is a secure, web-based tool for healthcare providers and schools. It connects people who receive, administer, record and order vaccines in Washington. The Washington State Department of Health administers the WAIIS system.
A student may only attend school or childcare if their immunizations are up to date based on current requirements and SBLSD has received records verified and signed by their medical provider. Students may also achieve compliance with a certificate of exemption from their healthcare provider. We strongly encourage you to register for an account so you can verify your student’s immunization records personally.
