Tehaleh Community Families:  
 
As new homes within the Tehaleh community are built the district is working to verify resident school districts for each individual home. If you have questions about which district is your resident district please follow the instructions below. Should you have additional questions please contact Amanda Nelson at (253) 891-6005  
 
  • Navigate to the Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer Information Portal 
  • Input your house number & street 
  • Click on your address (If you have a Unit or Apartment number please be sure to click on that one!)
  • Click on Taxes/Values
  • Scroll down to History and Receipts
  • Click on the blue linked Tax Code Area number
  • Scroll to the bottom of the districts section & find your listed school district (this is your resident district)
  • If you are outside of the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District and would like to attend school within the district please complete an Inter District waiver and a Choice Transfer Request
  • If the Inter District waiver system does not allow you to complete the waiver due to recognizing you as a Sumner-Bonney Lake school district resident but the  Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer Information Portal  says otherwise please contact Amanda Nelson at 253-891-6005
