Summer School
High school Summer School registration opens 8 am Monday, May 4.
Summer School is a great opportunity for students to retrieve credit or get ahead on some elective credits. This year, our Summer School program will be in-person at Sumner High School ((1707 Main Street, Sumner) but is open to all Sumner and Bonney Lake High School students.
Summer School 2026 begins on Monday, June 29 and ends Thursday, July 30. School is in session Monday through Thursday from 8 am -11 am.
Cost for the Summer School session:
- Credit Retrieval/Initial Credit: $100 registration fee for the entire Summer School session
- Qualified for reduced-price lunch (application has been submitted): $50 registration fee for the entire Summer School session
- Qualified for free lunch (application has been submitted): $25 registration fee for the entire Summer School session
- Extension Students: $25 fee

How do I sign up?
There are several steps to the registration process, all to ensure that everyone has the correct information needed to set you up for Summer School success! Registration for Summer School will open by 8 am Monday, May 4. The last day for registration is Monday, June 22.
Step 1: Communicate directly with your school counselor to determine which courses are eligible for Summer School and meet your graduation credit needs.
Step 2: Complete the Online Registration Form to initiate the registration process. There is a lot of information collected by the form, all of which is required for us to enroll you in Summer School through EdOptions. The information will only be used for Summer School purposes.
Step 3: Pay the required fees through the following process.
- Pay by school website
- Go to your school’s website
- Click “Online Payments”
- Click “Direct Payment Link”
- Sign in with your parent Family ID and Password
- Choose the applicable Summer School student to pay the fee
- Choose “Pay Fines/Fees”
- Click the Summer School Fee to pay (this will place the fee in your cart)
- Click “Check out”
- Fill in card information and pay now
- Pay by check/cash in person
- Pay the required fees to the bookkeeper at your high school.
- After June 16th, you may pay in person at the district office. W
e no longer accept payment over the phone. We have upgraded our payment system to help ensure security and industry compliance, and we are unable to manually enter credit card information.
Step 4: Watch for a confirmation email and communication from your Online Learning Manager and EdOptions about how to login and get started!
Step 5: Attend Orientation on Monday, June 29 and complete all coursework and exams, in person, for your class by Thursday, July 30!
