Language Access

Every parent/guardian has the right to receive information about their child’s education in a language they can understand. When your child starts school, you will be asked which language you prefer for communication. This allows the school to understand your language needs and offer interpretation services or translated materials at no cost to you.

Parent/guardian Language Access Rights information:

SBLSD's Language Access Policy 4218 is our commitment to fostering meaningful two-way communication with our culturally and linguistically diverse families and students, ensuring they have full access to our programs or services.
