Communities For Families Coalition

  • Community For Families Coalition
The Communities For Families coalition (CFF) is comprised of community members actively working together to improve the health and well-being of children, families and community.

The CFF meets on the first Thursday of every month, excluding July, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Gordon Family YMCA.

Coalition work includes activities to identify strengths and needs of our communities; presenting forum and summit results to local policy makers; and creating opportunities for partnerships between individuals and agencies serving children, youth and families. Annual events sponsored by the Coalition include school based youth forums & a community summit. This coalition is a great way to link students and staff with resources and community service opportunities! This group is a great resource for ‘senior project’ mentors & placements!

    Goals:
    • Identifying community assets & top needs of local residents.
    • Creating links among community resources, services & activities.
    • Support existing family-related projects.

"We are concerned people actively working together to improve the health and well-being of children, families and communities."
