Community Scholarships

  • Many local scholarships are available to Bonney Lake and Sumner High School seniors. The application window to apply for Community Scholarships is Nov. 30, 2020 - Feb. 19, 2021. 


    This community scholarship application is comprehensive, allowing scorers to have a complete picture of your educational goals, academic record, and extra-curricular activities and abilities, in addition to other information relating to your family and financial resources. Please prepare ahead of time by following the checkpoints below before you begin completing the online application.  Your Guidance Counselor will help you.


    The application window to apply for Community Scholarships for the 2020-21 school year is Nov. 30 - Feb. 19, 3:00 p.m.  Once the application window is open, follow the steps below to apply for Community Scholarships offered through the Education Foundation.

    1. Review the Application Questions so that you are well prepared. Completing the application should take approximately 15 minutes.
    2. Review the scholarships listings for BLHS and SHS to become informed of the scholarship requirements and award amounts. Note: Some scholarships require supplemental essays or applications.
    3. Complete the Online Community Application Form
    4. All completed applications require a letter of recommendation (drop off at Guidance Office).

    Note:  You will need to complete the application in one sitting (there is no option to save and come back to it later). Have your responses – both factual and essay responses – prepared so that you can complete the application in one sitting.

    Please make sure a copy of your transcript is forwarded to the guidance office for processing with your application.

    Several scholarships require supplemental applications. These must be turned in by the scholarship deadline to be considered. Your Guidance Counselor will let you know which scholarships require additional information.
