    It is not too late to join FCCLA! We meet every Thursday after school in the Culinary Room- Rm 104. We are getting excited to plan our upcoming community service project, and much much more! Hope to see you there!

Those interested are welcome to join us for a quick meeting on TODAY in room 102. Meeting times are during the last 10 minutes of each lunch or after school. We hope to see you there!

     

    Attention All International Students and any U.S. citizens who are interested in the world!!!!!!! International Club is holding its first meeting on Wednesday Sept. 29th in room 402. It will start at 2:30... let's plan our year!!

     

    Good morning ladies, gentlemen, and those who know better. Join a group of open-minded and diverse students this and every Thursday at Gay-Straight Alliance. This week we're holding officer campaign speeches. You can find us in room 410 from 2:30 to 4.

     

    Attention foodies and future chefs! The first Culinary Club meeting of the year will be on Wednesday. We will be making a seasonal treat. Stop by the Culinary Arts classroom to sign up and reserve your spot.

     

    Hey Juniors! BLHS will offer the PSAT (Practice SAT) Exam on Wed. October 13th this year. The deadline to sign up is Friday, October 8th. This is also the only time the PSAT will be offered this year. The total cost of the PSAT is $20.00 paid to the bookkeeper. If you have any questions please see your counselor.

    Auditions for the Drama Club's fall performance is this Thursday and Friday after school. Go to the Drama Club's Google Classroom stream to find the audition sign up sheet and rehearsal calendar. You can join our Google Classroom page via join code: 3s2j6na

     

    September 15th, 2021 marked the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month. This month gives us a chance to recognize and celebrate members of our community and their ancestors who are a significant part of our American History.

     

    Students... If you have purchased your ASB but do not have the ASB indicator on your ID card, please visit our bookkeeper to receive the ASB sticker. Our bookkeeper is available before or after school and during lunch. You will need this ASB sticker to receive free admission to our home events and we will no longer have a printed checklist available at the ticket booth and you will not be allowed in to the games without your sticker.

    Hey freshman, this announcement is for you! This coming Friday, September 24th we’ve got our Freshman Fun night. Come for a night filled with games, pizza, activities and more. Make sure to dress tropical themed and bring a blanket! In order to come you must have a filled out permission slip. Have your parents check their emails for one and get that filled out! Can’t wait to see you there!

    Students, to park on campus, you need to have a parking pass. Without a parking pass, you will be issued parking citations - $10 every time. ( citations start today 9/15/2021 )

     

    Hey Panthers, would you like to meet a diverse group of people in an open, accepting environment? Want to change the school for the better? Come to the first Gay-Straight Alliance meeting this Thursday, Spetember 16, in room 410 from 2:30 to 4.

     

    Hey Panthers! Drama Club is all about the BLHS theatre program, and a great place to have fun and make new friends! At meetings we participate in drama games and activities. Our next meeting is Wednesday, September 15 from 2:30-3:30 on the Commons Stage. You can also join our Google Classroom for more information. Our join code is: 3s2j6na

     

    Welcome back Panthers! If you are interested in helping out your community and meeting new people who also like to help out our community, join us on Wednesday at 2:30pm in room 205 for our first KEY club meeting. We look forward to new and returning members joining us to start planning awesome events for serving the community this year! Any questions email Mrs. Berwick or stop by to chat in room 205 before Wednesday.

     

     

    Students - There are multiple places where you may eat lunch besides just the commons. The gym is open, you may eat outside between the commons and the PAC, and you may also eat outside between the 300 & 400 halls (doors by the counseling office).

     

    Students - it is absolutely essential that we keep each other safe during lunch. Chairs MUST stay on their dots. Do not move them closer to each other. Masks must be worn unless actively eating.
