This free event features keynote speaker Angela Brown, Founder and President of Empowering Actions for Leaders, LLC. "Before you lead others, you must first learn to lead your own life." Are you that type of leader? Be inspired by Angela's story about the power of a moment.

Directors of our three local food banks (Sumner Community Food Bank, Bonney Lake Food Bank and Emmanuel Food Pantry) are our panelists in this session. We’ll discuss growth and expansion plans for these programs, information about how many in our community come to food banks, as well as ideas for volunteers to be involved in future programs. Unsung Hero Award:
The Community Impact/Unsung Hero Awards are given annually as part of the Sumner-Bonney Lake CFF Community Summit held each March. Nominated individuals and organizations who serve in support of our local community will be honored. Nominees have the following criteria:
- makes a powerful difference without having the benefit of holding an office, title or position.
- contributes to the health and well-being of youth and families.
- works “behind the scenes” and is rarely recognized for community involvement.
- goes above & beyond what is expected – as a volunteer, or professionally.
