Preschool Age Children (3-5)

If your child is preschool age and you're worried about their developmental progress, the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District provides a valuable service: free screening to assess school-related development. We encourage parents to make use of this service, which includes an evaluation of your child's Cognitive, Communication, Fine/Gross Motor, Self Help, and Social/Emotional skills and development.

If your child is unable to perform the age-appropriate activities listed, they may benefit from a screening. The purpose of this screening is to assess whether your child should undergo further evaluation for special education services.
