2-for-1 (Equivalency Credit)
The “two-for-one” option is a Washington State rule change that allows students who take CTE-equivalent courses to satisfy two graduation requirements while earning one credit. The purpose is to create flexibility for students to choose more elective courses or to address other graduation requirements. Graduation and college entrance requirements for the year of graduation will impact course code and title decisions. Some CTE-equivalent courses also offer dual credit, maximizing the benefit for the student.
