Watch: New bus wash brings big benefits

Just in time for the first day of school, our buses are getting a glow-up with our new automated bus wash system! This new system transforms how we keep our fleet clean:

• Time Savings: A bus can now be washed in just 3–7 minutes compared to the 45 minutes to an hour it takes to wash one by hand. This means more buses are cleaned in less time, and drivers can focus on other important tasks.

• Cost Savings: The wash uses energy-efficient motors, smart programming, and less detergent per vehicle, lowering both utility and maintenance costs.

• Fleet Protection: Consistent, gentle washing helps prevent grime buildup, protecting bus paint, undercarriages, and extending the life of district vehicles.

• All-Vehicle Ready: With five different wash settings, the system works for our 66 buses and all other district vehicles, from small cars to larger trucks.
