Prop. 1 has passed! Now what?
As we continue to revel in the triumphant passage of Proposition 1, we wait for the remaining ballots to be counted and for the election to certify on Nov. 26.
Coming in with a 64.02% approval (as of 11/14), SBLSD garnered the largest bond measure approval in the state. Of the 14 bonds statewide, only four school districts passed. We are so very thankful that our Sumner-Bonney Lake voters made this happen!
In working to develop project timelines, we have prioritized starting the projects that will address our top capacity issues. The first projects to move forward are Bonney Lake High School, Sumner High School and the new middle school in Tehaleh.
