Meet the 8th grader making a kindness impact at Sumner Middle School
There’s a new club at Sumner Middle School that’s making a difference.
The Random Acts of Kindness Club, or RAK Club, was started by 8th grader Avah A. to inspire other students in her school to be kind to each other.
Superintendent Laurie Dent spoke with Avah in a recent video to learn more about the efforts of the group to spread kindness, from writing positive notes to distributing “Pass It On” cards, encouraging students to keep kindness moving through small daily actions.
Remember, kindness doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to be shared!
