The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District is located in the Puget Sound area in the heart of the Puyallup Valley in Washington State. The District is both rural and suburban in character. We proudly serve children and families residing in the cities of Sumner and Bonney Lake and unincorporated areas of East Pierce County. As a candidate entering the education profession or considering a change in school districts, you are someone special to us. All employees have a critical role in supporting student achievement to rigorous academic standards. Over 10,000 students attend two high schools, three middle schools and nine elementary schools throughout our district. Our academic excellence is exemplified by our high numbers of National Board Certified teachers and teachers with advanced degrees.
