ParentSquare

ParentSquare is the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District’s official communication platform (texts, emails and calls) for families.

By registering your account, you can:

Customize your notification settings
Communicate in your preferred language
Securely direct message with teachers and staff
Complete forms and sign up for conferences

Families are asked to register their account by going to parentsquare.com/signin. Please make sure your contact information is up to date in Skyward Family Access.

How to register

Note: Families do not need to register your account to receive messages, but registering your account allows for additional features, including changing your preferred notification settings, direct messaging with teachers, and more.

1. Go to parentsquare.com/signin

Go to parentsquare.com/signin or download the ParentSquare app.

Under "Register," type in your email or phone number on file with the district.

2. Create a password

Use a password that combines letters, numbers and characters to create a secure password.

Enter what you want your password to be and then retype to confirm it.
Click “Register.”

3. Confirm your contacts

This step lets ParentSquare and the district know that your email and/or phone number are correct and that you have access to them.

Click “confirm” for your phone number and/or email address. A verification code will be sent to the email or phone.
Enter the verification code to confirm.

4. Confirm your children

Confirm the child(ren) associated with your account.

Confirm your child(ren) by clicking “Confirm.” Use “Not My Child” if a child listed is not associated with your account.
Select “Yes, This is Me” when you have confirmed your contact information and child(ren) associated with your account.

5. Use ParentSquare!

Set your notification settings and preferences, contact your child's teacher, and more using ParentSquare.

ParentSquare features

Text Messages

Direct messages for private or group two-way communication. To receive texts, make sure your cell phone number is in Family Access.

Smart Alerts

One-way messages over email, text and voice. It's "smart" because the message is first sent as a text. If text delivery fails, the system automatically delivers the recorded voice message.

Translation

Two-way, real-time translation supports 106 languages. Allows district staff to communicate with families despite any language barriers.

Mobile App

Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all posts, events, photos and files.

Contact Info

Make sure your contact information is up-to-date in Skyward Family Access with your cell phone number in the primary phone field. If you need to update your information, contact your school.
