Summer Construction Projects

Summer is our busiest season for improvement projects across the district! As construction gets underway, please help keep everyone safe by respecting posted closures, staying out of fenced work zones and following all signage.

Districtwide Lighting Replacement

As part of a districtwide facilities improvement initiative, the district is replacing lighting with energy-efficient LED fixtures in all school buildings. The project will be completed in phases over several years, beginning this summer at Bonney Lake High School, Lakeridge Middle School, Mountain View Middle School and Sumner Middle School. This upgrade supports compliance with the Washington State Clean Buildings Act while reducing energy use and maintenance costs.

Donald Eismann Elementary

  • New turf field construction continues through summer
  • Parking lot closes June 17 for expansion and traffic flow improvements
