New Middle School in Tehaleh
With approval from the 2024 bond, a new middle school will be built in Tehaleh to relieve overcrowding and creating right-sized classrooms in all middle schools districtwide.
Current Status: Design
Project details:
- Constructing a new middle school on land to be acquired by the District in Tehaleh with updated learning technology, energy efficient systems and controlled school classroom entry and other modem safety and security systems
- Adding multi-use synthetic turf field facilities for students/community
- Acquiring land and interests in land
Timeline:
- Planning, design & permitting: 2025-2027
- Construction: 2027-2028
- Estimated completion: Winter 2028/2029
