About the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District
The Sumner-Bonney Lake School District has a connected community that supports high expectations for our more than 10,000 students. District boundaries span the cities of Bonney Lake and Sumner, along with parts of Edgewood, Pacific and unincorporated areas of Pierce County.
The district has 16 schools, an early learning center, 7 preschool/childcare centers, alternative education programs, family support resource center, district athletic complex, two performing arts centers, and public gymnasiums. Thanks to consistent voter-approved levies and bonds, Sumner-Bonney Lake School District continues to build, expand and improve its facilities for staff and students to teach and learn in safe, high-tech environments.
At SBLSD, we promise to know, value and support every student, helping them graduate ready to pursue a promising future.
