Educational Programs and Operations Levy (EP&O)

The replacement four-year EP&O levy funds 16 percent of our total district budget.

The EP&O levy funds:

  • Counselors & social workers
  • School nurses
  • Transportation
  • Teacher pay and training
  • Campus Safety Officers
  • School Resource Officers
  • Facility Repair
  • Special Education
  • Athletics and extracurricular activities
  • Music and arts
  • Advanced courses
  • Intervention support
  • Mental Health Support
  • Substitutes
  • Paraeducators

The EP&O levy makes up 16 % of our budget.


The EP&O levy continues funding to ensure every student in our district has access to:

  • High-quality teaching and learning by funding:
    • Additional school staff
    • Professional development for teachers
    • Curriculum
  • Supports to ensure the well-being of students:
    • School nurses
    • Counselors
    • Campus Safety Officers/School Resource Officers
  • Student programs not fully funded by the state including:
    • Special education
    • STEM Programs
    • Advanced Placement/IB classes, intervention classes at middle and high schools
  • Opportunities for students not funded by the state including:
    • Band, theater, music
    • Athletics
    • After school activities
  • Operational needs
    • Transportation
    • Custodial staff
    • Maintenance staff/operational costs
