This equates to 368 students or 12 entire classrooms (a full graduating class).

BLHS-specific improvements through Prop. 1

  • At least 10 additional classrooms
  • Expanded Career & Technical Education opportunities 

  • Multi-use turf fields for baseball and fastpitch 

  • Improved parking and queuing

  • Improved  Mountain View MS/BLHS intersection

  • New piping in the 500 building

  • Augmented Performing Arts Center stage lighting

Prop. 1 would make school improvements in teaching and learning environments that support student achievement and relieve student overcrowding at nearly all schools, including:

  • Make Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility improvements

  • Improve health/safety/security
