Complaints Concerning School Personnel
Constructive criticism can be helpful to the District. At the same time, the School Board of Directors has confidence in its staff and programs and shall act to protect them from unwarranted criticism or disruptive interference.
In hearing complaints, a School Board Director will, without any commitment on the School Board Director’s part, refer the complainant to the appropriate member of the administrative staff or to the superintendent for further inquiry. School Board Directors shall be encouraged to refer persons making complaints to the appropriate administrative officer and shall be encouraged to ask that complaints be handled according to the method outlined in the administrative regulations and procedures.
This policy does not apply to District staff complaints regarding other District staff members.
