There is not a SBLSD school on the hill this year eligible to host the summer lunch program. To be eligible to use federal funds for the summer lunch program, a school must have more than 50 percent of its students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Only Daffodil Valley Elementary qualifies this year in the District. In previous years, we were able to provide a summer lunch location at Liberty Ridge Elementary, but they are no longer at the 50 percent mark. However, all children, whether or not they attend DVE, are welcome to receive lunch there this summer.
