Childcare During School Closure

  • * Due to the overwhelming number of applications we’ve received for this free childcare program, we’re now at capacity and unable to accept more children at this time. Should spaces open up, we encourage you to let us know if you’re still interested in our childcare program. To be added to a waiting list, please contact Pam Stoner at *

During the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District’s closure due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re offering -- on a space-available basis --  free childcare for District families who are:

This includes, but is not limited to, hospitals, clinics, behavioral health centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult family homes, and personal homes.

    • First responders: Defined in RCW 70.54.430 as including firefighters, law enforcement officers, and emergency medical personnel, as licensed or certificated by the state

    • Uniformed service members: A member of the armed forces.
