• Childcare:

    * Due to the overwhelming number of applications we’ve received for this free childcare program, we’re now at capacity and unable to accept more children at this time. Should spaces open up, we encourage you to let us know if you’re still interested in our childcare program. To be added to a waiting list, please contact Pam Stoner at pam_stoner@sumnersd.org. *

During the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District’s closure due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re offering -- on a space-available basis --  free childcare for District families who are:

This includes, but is not limited to, hospitals, clinics, behavioral health centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult family homes, and personal homes.

    • First responders: Defined in RCW 70.54.430 as including firefighters, law enforcement officers, and emergency medical personnel, as licensed or certificated by the state

    • Uniformed service members: A member of the armed forces.

    Grab-n-Go Meals:

Federal law and USDA regulation require nutrition programs to make reasonable modifications to accommodate children with disabilities. Under the law, a disability is an impairment which substantially limits a major life activity or bodily function, which can include allergies and digestive conditions, but does not include personal diet preferences.

Please complete the Dietary Accommodations Request Form as an accomodation offered through the Grab-n-Go Meal program during COVID-19 school closures.
