Career Pathways (Programs of Study)
There are 16 Career Clusters in the National Career Clusters Framework, representing 79 Career Pathways. The Programs Of Study are examples designed to act as a guide to help learners navigate their way to greater success in college and career. The framework functions as a useful guide in assisting the student in creating their individual plan of study for a complete range of career options. As such, it helps learners discover their interests and their passions and empowers them to choose the educational pathway that can lead to success in high school, college, and career.
How to Use This Tool
- Using the results from student interest surveys, determine which cluster(s) might be a good fit for you.
- Explore the Program Of Study for the pathways within that career cluster.
- Using the blank template, refer to graduation requirements to fill in your course choices that best align with your interests and future goals.
