    Donations Accepted: The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation through Pierce County Connected has donated $25,000 to the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District to be used to support McKinney-Vento students at the Family Center through outreach and basic needs support. This donation directly supports the District’s COVID-19 response efforts for these students.

    Donations Accepted: Bonney Lake High School Panther Parent Pride’s Band Subgroup: $3,000 to the Bonney Lake High School Band ASB

    Golden Apple Community Partner Award: Superintendent Dent and the School Board honored Brittney Boone with DocuSign for supporting K-12 students in exploring careers in information technology. From providing job shadows to guest speaking, this Sumner High School alum gives back, helping ensure we’re teaching what’s applicable and relevant in today’s workforce.

    Golden Apple Community Partner Award

    Superintendent Dent and the School Board honored Bonny Lake Food Bank as the September Golden Apple recipient. Feeding Bonney Lake and parts of Orting, Sumner and Buckley, the food bank serves 600-700 families each week.
