    Now that we are getting into a good routine of distance learning, I want to share with you that we are implementing a few systems to make our work more like the day to day work of being in the building. First, classroom teachers will be taking attendance on Friday of each week during the remainder of the school year.

Elementary District News

  • Required Learning

    What does required new distance learning look like? What can parents and students expect? While distance learning cannot fully replace students’ experiences in schools, this approach will help ensure they are prepared for the next step in their educational journey.

  • Free Meals for Students

    Grab-n-go meals -- breakfast and lunch -- are available for children 18 years or younger. A student does not need to attend school at the distribution location to get meals.

  • New Student Registration

    Do you need to register a student for school? Student registration forms will be collected via email during our closure.

  • SBLSD Operations

    All SBLSD buildings, including Central Office, will be closed to the public until at least April 24. Essential business operations will, to the extent possible, be completed remotely. Phones for schools and Central Office will be monitored daily during the business week. See our District Directory for a complete list of phone numbers.
