Remember What to Wear?
As the warmer weather is approaching, we would like to remind everyone what is appropriate attire for learning, PE and recess.  Please follow the rules below when choosing school clothes for the day:

CARNIVAL * CARNIVAL  – Saturday, June 2 starting at 11:00 am!
The carnival is almost here and is a fun Saturday event here at the school.  Look for a flyer to be coming home in late May to purchase your tickets in advance. The date is June 2 and the carnival is from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. You won’t want to miss this event as there will be a train ride, giant hamster balls, bouncy toys, skeet ball, balloon artist, food and lots more fun for the whole family!

Take Me Out to the….Tacoma Rainier’s Baseball Game!
Our school and community have a special game date on Sunday, June 10!  The Viking Choir will be singing the National Anthem at 1:30 pm when the Tacoma Rainiers play the Salt Lake Bees.  Come cheer on our singers, see our school name up in lights, get some player signatures and enjoy a game with your friends and family all at a discounted BLE price!  Ticket orders are due by May 21.  More forms are available in the front office.  See you at the game!  PLAY BALL!

Field Day is June 15
Field Day is a fun day for us here at BLE.  We will be barbequing hamburgers. Families are invited to attend and purchase lunch to enjoy with your child on this special day!  A pre-purchase order form will be going home soon.

Last Day of School is June 21 (early release at 11:40 a.m.)
Due to the 4 snow days, we will have full day school May 25 and May 29 and our school year is extended until June 21.
